Always Lavender

I created this project for the Elizabeth Craft Designs Designer Challenge.  This month the theme is Gift Giving.  Here is a little gift that is fast to make and sweet to give.  You probably already have the dies and an empty shadow frame!

Instructions:

  1.  Take the frame apart.  You may use any size frame you have on hand, you will just have to adjust the size of the cardstock panels.  Cut a panel from white cardstock the same size as the backing of the frame.  Cut another panel the same size as the glass in the frame.
  2. Position the lavender die in the middle of the white panel that is the same size as the glass. Hold in place with removable tape if you’re worried the die might shift.  Die cut the lavender and put it aside for another project!
  3.  Place the glass-sized panel on top of the glass and put them in the frame.  Place the other white cardstock panel inside the back of the frame and reassemble the frame. The lavender diecut will float on top of the glass.  No adhesive is needed as the lip of the frame will hold the cardstock in place.
  4. Cut a piece of white ribbon approximately 8” long and adhere at the back of the frame positioned as shown.
  5. Die cut Always from purple cardstock and attach to ribbon.  Smile and give to someone special. Designer Tip: Use one of the other A Way With Words?  There are lots that would be perfect for everyone on your list such as Forever, Because, Remember, Cherish just to name a few!
 Happy creating! Suzanne
